Three Welsh Cows
St. David's, Wales
My short trip to Wales was made possible by some very good friends and their love of Surfing. Surrounded by rugged coastline and beautiful landscapes, St. David's boasts the title of "Britain's smallest city" and features the most beautiful cathedral I have ever seen. One afternoon I ventured out of the city into the surrounding fields, following paths and trails along the coast before cutting back through the fields. Along the way I ran into these lovely ladies, who couldn't decide what to make of me.
Inveruglas Isle
Loch Lomond, Scotland
This photo was taken shortly past sunrise, where a intercity bus from Glasgow had just dropped me off on the side of the road in front of a power station. Thanks to AllTrails and some convenient public transport I had found a way to hike, and tackled Ben Vorlich that day. Rising above the western edge of the loch, the route to the top was peaceful and serene, with more sheep than people.
Andean Boy with Goat
Urubamba, Peru
I've always loved this photo, and given my level of experience in 2019 I'm lucky it came out as well as it did. Taken on the first day of a two week school trip, our stop in this town was my first introduction to the mountains of Peru and the people who call them home. To this day I haven't experienced a place as unique and beautiful as the Andes, and I think back on this trip and the memories made very fondly.
Sunset Over Saguaros
Saguaro NP, Tucson Arizona
It's not a very good photo in the grand scheme of photography, but I love it nonetheless. It represents a time in my life when I was first discovering my passion for the hobby, and was one of those "wow that looks super cool I should take a photo" moments. It reminds me of our family trips to Tucson to visit my Grandma, and as taken down the road from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum where we would always go together.
